Prosthesis
Prostheses are all artificial materials prepared for the purpose of regaining the functions such as chewing, speaking, and aesthetic appearance of the teeth lost due to various reasons in the mouth. In general, tooth and bone loss occurs as a result of not treating gum diseases.
In the prosthesis, the lost oral health is corrected. For this purpose, the lost lip, cheek support, speech and chewing functions are regained. Psychological support is provided to individuals who have to live with missing or ruined teeth and have forgotten to laugh. It is aimed to increase the quality of life of people with prostheses
Types of Prosthesis
Fixed Prostheses
The Fixed Prosthesis process is constructing crowns or bridges that the patient cannot put on or take off whenever they want. In our clinic, we make fixed crowns and bridges only from porcelain. The biggest advantage of the Full Porcelain Bridge Dental System, also called Metal-Free Bridges or Metal-Free Bridges, provides a full aesthetic appearance in the bridges in the posterior region with its very high durability. These porcelain crowns and bridges can be considered in two groups as metal infrastructure or metal-free.
Empress II (Jacket Porcelain)
These porcelains, which are designed transparent, have the same light transmittance and naturalness as natural tooth enamel, since metal is not used. Ensuring full color harmony in jacket applications, thinner and natural appearance has been the solution to aesthetic expectations. Jacket applications have very good tissue compatibility, do not cause allergies and have high gingival compatibility.
Zirconium porcelains
Zircon, a natural product like zircon that is tissue-friendly, highly resistant, completes color integrity, does not cause allergic reactions, and eliminates hot-cold sensitivity, is successfully applied to patients in our clinic. In zirconium porcelain bridge teeth, a white zirconium alloy is used instead of metal.
E-max Porcelains
E-max Porcelains are glass ceramics reinforced with lithium disilicate.
It is a high-level material used in aesthetic dentistry today because it does not contain any metal and has high light transmittance.
Especially when it is preferred in our patients who have aesthetic problems due to wear and damage in their anterior teeth, excellent results emerge.
Advantages:
It has high light transmittance and has a natural tooth appearance when applied in the mouth.
Since it contains metal, the risk of allergic reaction is minimal.
Being a tissue-friendly material, e-max porcelains adapt perfectly to the gums.
Laminate porcelain veneers
Laminate porcelains are thin-leaf porcelains that are applied to the front surface of the teeth with minimal abrasion. The whiteness obtained with laminate porcelain is permanent; Factors that cause discoloration on natural teeth such as tea, cigarettes and coffee do not have a discoloration effect on laminate porcelains. Laminate porcelain can be applied to teeth with discoloration, in cases where there is a gap between the anterior group teeth called diastema, worn teeth, restoration of broken teeth, and teeth with deformities.
